The annointment of Obama ..

Alot of weeping and gnashing of teeth today, as the classy 'Progressives'ascend to power.

For me, it is not the result I wanted, but I can live with this. Why, you ask?

Because I believe Barry is the lesser of two evils. By relegating Hillary to foreign matters, he has assured himself 2 terms if she's on board his bus, instead of driving her's over the cliff.

I predict that soon enough we will hear grumblings as Hillary lobbies Obama to do what in in her best interests. I think Obama will listen , but make up his own mind. He's already proven that with his cabinet picks, and his campaign promise reversals.

Soon enough, she will figure out that she is being played, and will try to undermine his authority. I guarantee it. But,he has her number. He can fire her ass, and she could split the party by openly and vocally disagreeing, but that only works ONE time. She would have to submit to him or completely ruin her politcal career.

Also, this put's the race warlords out of bidnezz. The era of excuse making is over. Barack as much as said it. He is taking the 'Bill Cosby' approach and that will be his undoing, IMHO. Once the bloom is off the rose, and people start to wake up to the fact that they actually have to do something for themselves, they will start to turn against him. Time will tell.

I also hear people complaining about the cost of the party. Hell, even ABC is getting on board : http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/MoneyTrail/story?id=6680531&page=1

These people need to be quiet. Spending 2.5 times the amount Bush did, mostly from private entities, is totally fine, even in these 'hard times'. Barack is inheiriting a country 5X as worse, so if he spends double or triple the amount W spent, then that is a non issue. Hell, they usually give the condemned man a cigarette, blindfold and decent meal beforehand.

"...While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.

Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, "Why this waste of perfume? It could have been sold for more than a year's wages and the money given to the poor." And they rebuked her harshly.

"Leave her alone," said Jesus. "Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me.

Remember: All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others!

Good luck, Barry. When your followers see through the facade, it's going to get ugly.

Still, this day could have been so much worse. Imagine Hillary with her hand on the Bible. It would have to be an even colder day.

Plus, Biden is going to be comedy gold.

Come celebrate Obama's victory this Thursday @ Steinbecks!
